Stainless Steel

The composition of the steel we use in this range is referred to as X50CrMoV15. This denotes the use of German X50 stainless steel, containing 0.5% carbon for outstanding edge retention and 15% chrome for high corrosion resistance. Molybdenum and vanadium (MoV) also work with the high carbon content to further strengthen the blade and improve stain resistance.
