Vari-Slice Sage
This fantastic multifunctional gadget features a stainless steel blade, a comfortable non-slip handle and base to hold the slicer stable on surfaces and bowl edges and a removable 1.5L storage container to catch your perfectly sliced fruit and vegetables.
For slicing and julienning simply insert the slicer / julienne blade in the mandoline base. Adjust the rotating dial clockwise for your chosen thickness (see below). Secure food with the food guard to protect fingers and carefully slide the food guard back and forth to slice food.
Julienne/slicing settings:
Setting 1 - Thin (1mm)
Setting 2 - Medium (3mm)
Setting 3 - Thick (5mm)
For grating make sure to set the adjustable plate to the locked position by turning the dial clockwise until it locks. Insert the grater blade into the mandoline base. Secure the food with the food guard and carefully slide back and forth to grate food.
To wash the mandoline simply dissemble all parts and then carefully wash by hand. We do not recommend dishwasher use.
Caution: Blades are extremely sharp, handle with care and keep out of reach of children.

Extra care is required when using graters and mandolines as these are extremely sharp. Work slowly and carefully, always using the guard and not fingers on mandolines.
