Ceramic nonstick

“After purchasing the ceramic Wok we realised how bad our nonstick frying pan was so this replaced it. Once seasoned it was used with hardly any oil and cooked to perfection. Only use on low or medium heat.” Read More

ProCook Professional Ceramic Cookware Set

8 Piece

Our ProCook Ceramic range has been designed with your health and the environment in mind. This set includes a 14, 16, 18 and 20cm saucepan, 20 and 28cm frying pans, a 24cm stockpot and a 28cm casserole.

With a special ceramic PFOA free non-stick coating reinforced with titanium, our ceramic cookware requires significantly less oil to cook with and boasts a robust scratch resistant surface.

The ProCook Ceramic range also has environmental benefits. During the manufacturing process, the curing temperature of a ceramic pan is much lower than traditional nonstick cookware, using less energy, and so reducing the impact on the planet.

Forged from a 5mm thick heavy-duty aluminium disc to offer even heat distribution and featuring a full edge-to-edge stainless steel base the ProCook Ceramic range is guaranteed to last over prolonged use and ensures full compatibility with all hob types including induction.

It also features comfortable stainless steel CoolTouch® handles, riveted for extra strength allowing for direct transferal from hob to oven and is dishwasher and oven safe to 260C.

*Handles will get hot in oven or on high gas flame.

25 year guarantee - ProCook design, manufacture and supply innovative quality products and cut out the middleman to bring you unbeatable prices.

Care Instructions

Getting the most from your Professional Ceramic Cookware

Step 1: Wash the cookware thoroughly

Wash before first use.

Each piece in the range is dishwasher safe so cleaning is easy, or alternatively wash in hot soapy water with a soft brush or nylon pad

Season the surface by lightly rubbing cooking oil onto the non-stick surface and heat the pan over a medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes

When the pan cools, sponge it with a mild detergent in warm water and rinse the surface clean

Always allow the pan to cool completely before immersing in water.

Step 2: Cooking with Professional Ceramic

All pieces in the Professional Ceramic range feature Titanium reinforced ceramic PFOA free non-stick coating, which provides a superior surface that requires less cooking oil. Do not use metal utensils on the non-stick surface as this can damage the coating. We advise using nylon, silicone or wooden utensils for best results.

Always use a low or medium heat when cooking food. This not only helps preserve the non-stick coating, but also helps preserve the natural nutrients in the food.

Cooking with oils is not required but if some oil is desired we recommend using oils with a low smoke point such as refined olive oil, peanut oil or corn oil. Do not use extra virgin olive oil or cooking sprays as these cannot withstand high heating and will leave a thin layer on your non-stick

Do not expose to oven temperatures greater than 260C

Extra special care should be taken on both induction and ceramic hobs not to move pans around once placed on the hob to prevent possible scratching. Scratched hobs are not covered by your ProCook guarantee.

Some tips for cooking on induction hobs

Induction hobs can deliver extremely high heat outputs, often at double or triple times that of a typical gas hob. Therefore, extra care must be taken to reduce the heat setting as excessive heat will damage the pan and this may not be covered by your guarantee.

Only use high heat or boost settings for boiling large quantities of water (e.g. for pasta).

Reduce the heat setting as soon as the desired temperature has been achieved.

Do not use the boost setting to heat oil or fat.

Never heat an empty pan - the high output from an induction hob may damage the pan which is not covered by the guarantee.

Step 3: Cleaning those difficult bits

If there are any burnt-on-bits on pans, soak the pan in hot soapy water to loosen then wash as normal

Do not use steel wool or metal pads as they will scratch the surface of the cookware. Although they will not damage how the pan functions, they may affect the general aesthetic of the cookware.

By following these guidelines your cookware will last for many years of happy use and will keep your guarantee intact.
