This 2 piece chopping board set contains a 35 x 25cm and 40 x 28cm end grain chopping board.

Our end grain chopping boards are made from the end pieces of wood, which gives both a lovely visual effect and has a practical advantage in looking after your knives. As the name suggests, the board is constructed with wood blocks positioned so the 'end grain' fibres form the surface, providing a softer surface for the knife blade helping you look after the blade edge for longer. These fibres then close up easily after use for a smooth surface that's easy to clean.

The chopping boards are sturdy and solid to cut on, and has a groove channelled around the entire edge to catch food bits and juices, keeping your work surfaces tidy. The underside of the board has a completely flat surface for quick chopping and dicing.

Made from beautiful beech wood these boards suits any kitchen.

Oil the beech board with either vegetable, olive, rapeseed, walnut or Danish oil before first use and keep clean by simply wiping over. Re-oil when needed to preserve and enrich the wood.

Not suitable for being submerged in water or being used in the dishwasher.
