Care Instructions: Gourmet Steel Cookware
The ProCook Gourmet Steel cookware range is built to offer incredible strength and versatility at amazingly low prices.
Each piece in the range is made from the highest quality 18/10 stainless steel so the pans will never tarnish or discolour and will always look as good as new.
The saucepans and stockpots feature an incredibly useful strain and pour design that allows you to drain anything for potatoes to rice without the risk of losing the contents to the sink! Simply line up the draining holes in the lid with the lip on the sides of the pans, tip and pour.
The range is suitable for all hob types including induction so you will be able to use it even if you change your hob and is oven safe to 260C meaning you can transfer directly from hob to oven, or keep ingredients warm in the oven once cooked.
Getting the most from your Gourmet Steel Cookware:
Step 1: Wash the cookware thoroughly
Give each piece a wash before you use it for the first time Each piece in the range is dishwasher safe so cleaning is easy, or alternatively wash in hot soapy water with a soft brush or nylon pad
Step 2: Cleaning those difficult bits
If there are any burnt-on-bits on pans, soak the pan in hot soapy water to loosen then wash as normal
Do not use steel wool or metal pads as they will scratch the surface of the cookware. Although they will not damage how the pan functions, they may affect the general aesthetic of the cookware.
Do not expose to temperatures greater than 260C
The Gourmet Steel frying and saute pans feature 5 star ProCook Ultra double layer non-stick coating for amazing stick free cooking. Do not use metal utensils on the non-stick surface as this can damage the coating. We advise using nylon, silicone or wooden utensils for best results.
By following these guidelines your cookware will last for many years of happy use and will keep your guarantee intact.
