Prior to cooking rinse rice thoroughly under a tap until water runs clear. Measure out your rice and water and place in the main body of the rice cooker. Place the drainer on top of the rice and water and attach the vented lid by clipping the locking clips into place. Put the rice cooker in the microwave and cook for 8-12 mins.

Carefuly remove using carry handles and oven gloves and allow rice to cool slightly before unclipping lid. Drain away any remaining water leaving the drainer in place. Then remove the drainer and stir rice with the paddle before serving.
