We now have two Vaasa dinner sets as we were so pleased with the first one we got in the New Year. We were looking for a really hard wearing set as we’d had stoneware before which chipped and cracked easily. This set has not chipped at all after 3 months hard use / fitting in dishwasher / oven / microwave / stone work surface etc etc
We now have two Vaasa dinner sets as we were so pleased with the first one we got in the New Year. We were looking for a really hard wearing set as we’d had stoneware before which chipped and cracked easily. This set has not chipped at all after 3 months hard use / fitting in dishwasher / oven / microwave / stone work surface etc etc.
We’re also really pleased with the effect of the dark blue colour - it sets off the food on it beautifully. The colours vary a bit between the plates/bowls which again we like.
All in all a lovely design and very well made.

Bought as a gift. Recipient chose the housewarming plates and bowls they wanted, and from the photo I didn't see the appeal. However, upon arrival I saw they were very beautiful. Good quality, loved that they were dishwasher and microwave safe. Recipients think they're great quality too and are very happy with their choice.

Made from durable stoneware that is dishwasher, microwave and oven safe to 120°C, the bowls are hand painted with reactive glaze, then kiln fired to achieve a stunning, ethereal mottled affect that draws the eye and sets off any table setting.
