A lovely set of knives. Comfortable to handle, sharp, look good. Food sticks to the Santoku when cutting which I believe isn't supposed to happen. However, I don't mind as it still slices beautifully.

Designed for professional chefs as well as home cooks, our extensive Professional X50 Chef range offers a knife for every task. Inspired by classic French styling each knife features triple rivet handles and the finest German X50 stainless steel blades.
The composition of the steel used is referred to as X50CrMoV15 and denotes the use of 0.5% carbon for outstanding edge retention and 15% chrome for high corrosion resistance. Molybdenum and vanadium (MoV) also work to further strengthen the blade and improve stain resistance. The collection has an official Rockwell hardness rating (HRC) of 55±2 ensuring durabiity and easy sharpening.
With contoured, triple rivet handles and an anti-slip full length front bolster, Professional X50 Chef knives offer comfort, control and elegant good looks.
