Designed for professional chefs as well as home cooks, our extensive Professional X50 Chef range offers a knife for every task. Inspired by classic French styling, each knife features richly toned, carbonised ash wood handles with on-trend brass rivets and the finest German X50 stainless steel blades.
The composition of the steel used is referred to as X50CrMoV15 and denotes the use of 0.5% carbon for outstanding edge retention and 15% chrome for high corrosion resistance. Molybdenum and vanadium (MoV) also work to further strengthen the blade and improve stain resistance. The collection has an official Rockwell hardness rating (HRC) of 55±2 ensuring durability and easy sharpening.
With contoured, triple rivet handles and an anti-slip full length front bolster, Professional X50 Chef knives offer comfort, control and elegant good looks.
The magnetic glass and ash wood knife block is an incredibly stylish knife storage solution. Made from toughened glass and beautifully grained ash, the knife block has a magnetic strip hidden within the wood to securely hold up to 6 knives dependent on blade width. It has pre-treated wood which needs minimal maintenance. To care for your knife block wipe clean with a soft cloth. Not dishwasher safe.
