Parsnip Dauphinoise


Parsnip DauphinoiseRECIPE for using ProCook Mandolin.

 

Use the straight slicer blade and set the dial to thickness level 6 and slice up some parsnips; butter an ovenware dish and lay the slices in flat layers, with regular sprinklings of nutmeg, salt and pepper between layers.

 

Cover with double cream mixed with a little whole milk and then bake for 40 - 45 minutes in a moderate oven until browned and bubbling.
