Steak and Low Fat Chips

 

Peel and chop potatoes into chip wedge shapes, then boil for one minute in water.  Drain thoroughly then spread out on a lightly oiled baking tray and spray with either olive oil spray or Fry Lite low calorie spray.  Place in pre-heated oven at 220 degrees C for 25 – 35 minutes until golden brown.  Remove from the oven and sprinkle with salt then serve immediately.

Meanwhile, trim all the fat off the steak of your choice and season with salt, freshly ground pepper and a little wholegrain mustard.  Place in a pre-heated griddle and cook for 2 – 5 minutes on each side depending on how rare or well done you prefer your meat.  Serve with chips.
