  • 4oz butter
  • 2 tbsp golden syrup
  • 3 dessert spoons drinking chocolate
  • 1 dessert spoon caster sugar
  • 1 cup sultanas
  • 8oz rich tea biscuits

Method

 

Put butter, syrup, drinking chocolate, caster sugar into a pan and melt over a low heat.
Break the biscuits in a plastic bag using a rolling pin.
Add sultanas and broken biscuits to the melted ingredients.
Press the mixture into a non-stick baking tray or swiss roll tin
Melt the chocolate in microwave for 1 minute, (or in a basin over simmering water).
Pour melted chocolate over other ingredients and allow to set in the fridge once cool.
Cut into slices.
