Sweet and creamy, our blueberry and beetroot smoothie is packed full of fibre, protein and antioxidants, making it a healthy breakfast option or tasty treat. Easily sip on-the-go when busy mornings arise, or if you’re able to enjoy a relaxed, laid-back start to your day, pour into a bowl and top with additional fresh fruit for a delicious smoothie bowl.

2 small or 1 large smoothie
Ingredients
125ml unsweetened almond milk or plant-based milk of choice
75ml plain, non-fat Greek yoghurt or non-dairy yoghurt to make vegan
1 small beetroot, peeled and diced
125g frozen blueberries
50g frozen pineapple
1-2 tsp honey or agave syrup to make vegan
2 tbsp oats, optional
Sprinkle of chia seeds, optional

What you'll need...
Method
1. Add the almond milk, blueberries, pineapple, beetroot and Greek yoghurt to a blender.
2. Blend until smooth on a high speed setting.
3. Taste and add the sweetener until you reach your desired sweetness, making sure to blend again.
4. Serve and enjoy immediately.
