Frozen margarita

This classic summer cocktail perfectly combines sweet and sour, making it an instantly refreshing drink to be enjoyed under the sun.

Our frozen margarita recipe can be easily made with a handful of ingredients and a blender. Take your 6 ingredients, rim the glasses with salt and when the ingredients are blitzed, sip and enjoy.

What you'll need...

  • 50ml tequila
  • 20ml triple sec
  • 25ml lime juice
  • Ice
  • 2 lime wedges
  • Salt

Method

  1. Run a lime wedge around the outside of each rim of 2 martini glasses. Sprinkle salt onto a saucer and turn the glasses upside down in the salt to gently coast the edges. 

  2. Put all the ingredients except the lime wedge into a blender and blitz until smooth. 

  3. Tip into the salt-rimmed glasses, garnish with a wedge of lime and serve.
