A healthier way to enjoy bacon with all the flavour you know and love. Our air fryer bacon recipe will make your morning bacon butties crispier, juicier and just as indulgent.

The bacon sandwich has never been easier. By cooking bacon in the air fryer, you’re reducing the amount of oil, so you can achieve that crisp you know and love without the extra calories. To air fry bacon, all you need is bacon rashers, fluffy white rolls and your favourite sauce (red or brown, that’s up to you!).

What you'll need...

  • 3 rashers back bacon
  • 2 slices of bread, sourdough or white bloomer
  • Your favourite sauce (red or brown)

Method

  1. Lay the bacon in a single layer in the base of your air fryer – if there’s a crisper basket, use that instead. Avoid overlapping the bacon. 

  2. Set the air fryer to 200C and cook the bacon for 7-10 minutes depending on how you like it. If you’re making more than one bacon sandwich, you can cook in batches. 

  3. Once cooked, carefully remove the bacon and make the rest of your sandwich.
