Air fryer Brussels sprouts is the perfect side dish for Christmas Day lunch. Pair with bacon, chestnuts or whatever you fancy.

Serve up crisp but tender Brussels sprouts for roast dinners and the festive season with our super easy air fryer Brussels sprouts recipe. Top with chopped bacon or drizzle with chilli oil for an added kick. This recipe is perfect all year round but is a must-have for Christmas Day.

What you'll need...

  • 350g Brussels sprouts
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • Chopped cooked bacon, to serve (optional)
  • Drizzle of chilli oil, to serve (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer if needed to 180C. 

  2. Trim the fresh Brussels sprouts before adding to a bowl. Drizzle over with oil, season with salt and pepper and toss until evenly covered. 

  3. Arrange the Brussels sprouts in the air fryer. Keep to a single layer and avoid overlapping. Cook for 12-15 minutes, turning halfway through. 

  1. If adding bacon on top, cut into small pieces and fry in a frying pan until crispy. 

  2. Remove the cooked Brussels sprouts and top with bacon before serving.
