When the colder nights start to settle in, our pumpkin spice hot chocolate embodies the flavours of the season with white chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger, making this a true autumnal treat.

Top this hot choccy with squirty whipped cream and a sprinkling of cinnamon. Make it extra indulgent by dipping in ginger biscuits for a delicious snack.

What you'll need...

  • 150g white chocolate buttons or chips
  • ½ tsp mixed spice
  • ½ tsp ginger
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • Handful of marshmallows
  • Your favourite milk of choice, we like oat

Method

  1. Melt white chocolate buttons and stir until smooth. You can do this in the microwave or on the hob.

  2. Add mixed spice, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg to the melted white chocolate and stir. Add orange food colouring.

  3. Pour the mixture into an ice cube tray and sprinkle mini marshmallows on top. Add a lollipop stick to each cube and freeze until set.

  1. Remove one cube when the desire for a hot chocolate strikes and place in your favourite mug. Pour hot milk and stir the lollipop stick to help the hot chocolate mix melt.

  2. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkling of cinnamon. You can always add a cinnamon stick for garnish if you wish, and if you’re craving a snack, dip ginger biscuits.
