Easy

Embrace warm, sunny days with a jug of sangria. Made from red wine, brandy, lemonade and plenty of chopped fruit, red sangria is a lovely sharing cocktail to make for a relaxed get together with friends and family.

While we love to use pear, apple, lemon, oranges and strawberries, you can add whatever fruit you desire. Make sure to serve with plenty of ice for a refreshing experience.

What you'll need...

  • 1 orange, chopped
  • 1 lemon, chopped
  • 1 apple, cored, pips removed and chopped
  • 1 pear, cored, pips removed and chopped
  • 100g strawberries, chopped
  • 2 peaches, chopped
  • 750ml light red wine
  • 100ml Spanish brandy
  • 500ml lemonade

Method

  1. Take a large jug and muddle the oranges and lemon. Mix in the wine and brandy and place the jug in the fridge for 1 hour to allow the flavours to mingle.

  2. Remove from the fridge and add the mixed fruit and top up with the lemonade. Stir well to ensure everything is combined and serve over ice in your favourite cocktail glasses.
