Quick and easy, our healthy flapjack recipe is packed full of goodness with oats, banana, nuts and fruit being at the core of their deliciousness. To add natural creaminess and sweetness, we’ve dolloped peanut butter and squeezed honey - but to make these veggie-friendly flapjacks vegan, replace honey with golden syrup or date syrup.
Never be caught off-guard by hunger again with our snack-sized flapjack bars. Perfect for breakfast on-the-go too.

Ingredients
1 banana, ripe
2 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp peanut butter
60g honey, or golden syrup to make vegan
45g mixed pumpkin, sunflower and sesame seeds
1 tsp cinnamon
100g rolled oats, or gluten-free oats for gluten-free flapjacks
2 tbsp chia seeds
50g flaked almonds
50g sour cherries

What you'll need...
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 200C / 180C fan / gas 6.
2. Add the banana to a mixing bowl and mash to a smooth paste.
3. Melt the coconut oil over a low heat. Remove from the heat and add the peanut butter and honey. Gently combine.
4. Mix the dry ingredients into a bowl and add a pinch of salt. Add the banana paste and coconut oil, peanut butter and honey mixture. Stir until combined.
5. Line a baking tin and pour in the oat mixture, gently pressing to form a shape.
6. Bake for 25 minutes or until firm and golden brown.
7. Leave to cool in the tin before removing and cutting into bars.
