Combining tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and Mexican beer, the Lagerita is best enjoyed with plenty of ice and on a hot summer afternoon.
Simple, easy but a true delight for those who enjoy beer but want something a little extra. Can be enjoyed alone, with friends or served for special occasions like Father’s Day!
Coat the rim of a highball or beer glass with salt, fill with ice and set aside.
Add the tequila, Cointreau and lime juice to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until chilled.
Strain into the prepared glass.
Top with your chosen Mexican beer and gently stir so it doesn’t lose its fizz.
Garnish with a slice of lime if you wish.
