Bring a taste of Greece to the table with our super simple and fresh tzatziki. This Greek dip is perfect when served with toasted pitta bread.

Our tzatziki recipe can top salads, dress up sandwiches and pair wonderfully with grilled veggies and slow cooked lamb. Perfect for alfresco dining or lunching with friends, our recipe is simple and quick but full of delicious, summery flavours.

What you'll need...

  • ½ cucumber, deseeded and grated
  • 180g Greek yoghurt
  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • Handful of mint leaves, finely chopped

Method

  1. Finely grate the cucumber and place on a clean tea towel. Gently squeeze out any excess water. 

  2. In a bowl large enough, combine the yoghurt, cucumber, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt and mint. Serve immediately or chill until ready to use.
