How to clean an air fryer

Many households have turned to air fryers when cooking their meals. This is because of their small size, efficiency, and ability to cook healthily. Whether you’re frying chicken, fish, vegetables or tofu and more, air frying offers a lot of variety and options. Keeping your air fryer clean is essential to extending its longevity, so you can enjoy it for many years to come.

Air fryer cleaning tools

  • Washing up liquid

  • Baking soda

  • Soft sponge or cloth

  • Brush or old toothbrush

How to clean your air fryer

  1. If you’ve just used the air fryer, allow it to cool.

  2. Take out the removeable compartments like the basket, etc.

  3. Clean each part with warm water and washing up liquid. Use the sponge (non-abrasive side) to clean, thoroughly cleaning in the gaps and corners.

  4. For any burnt-on bits, make a paste of baking soda and water and place it on the stubborn stains, leaving it for 15 mins. Using the cleaning brush that comes with our Air Fryer Health Grill or an old toothbrush, gently wash off.

  5. Rinse and leave to dry before placing it back in the air fryer.
