Espresso eggnog martini

Keep the chill at bay with a cup of warm espresso eggnog martini, packed full of winter spices, a dash of rum and a shot of espresso.

This festive tipple is sweet, creamy and easy to drink. Our espresso eggnog martini recipe includes a splash of alcohol, a sprinkling of cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg for the full holiday spirit. Even better enjoyed with friends, family, and around a roaring fire.

What you'll need...

  • 50ml espresso
  • 50ml spiced rum
  • 25ml coffee liqueur
  • 3 tbsp vanilla custard
  • Ice
  • Squirty whipped cream, to serve (optional)
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon, to serve
  • Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg, to serve

Method

  1. Put ice in a cocktail shaker and add the espresso, rum, coffee liqueur and vanilla custard. 

  2. Shake well until combined. Pour into a martini glass or similar. Grate over the nutmeg and a small sprinkling of cinnamon. Add a squirt of cream if you wish!
