Pistachio affogato

Combine pistachio ice cream with freshly brewed espresso and tuck into your new favourite summer dessert. Quick, easy and utterly delicious.

Refreshing and full of flavour, you can either use homemade or store-bought pistachio ice cream and pour a shot of espresso over top. Decorate the side of the glass with pistachio crème and crushed pistachio for added depth and flavour.

What you'll need...

  • 1 tbsp pistachio crème
  • 1 tbsp pistachios, crushed
  • 3 scoops of pistachio ice cream
  • 1 espresso shot

Method

  1. Coat the edge of the glass with pistachio crème and dip the glass into the chopped pistachios.

  2. Add 3 scoops of pistachio ice cream. Finish it off by brewing a shot of espresso and pouring it over the top. For extra caffeine, add two. Grab a spoon and enjoy!
