A classic Sicilian pasta that delivers big flavours with minimal effort, perfect for a mid-week meal.

Bursting with flavour and easy to put together, this pasta dish can be easily customised to your liking. Ready in less than 30 minutes, our tuna pasta is not only simple but also healthy.

What you'll need...

Ingredients

  • 250g pasta (spaghetti or fusilli)
  • 200g tinned tuna in olive oil
  • 250g cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp capers, rinsed
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Method

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.

  2. Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil. Add tuna, tomatoes, oregano, and capers, breaking the tuna up with a fork.

  3. Toss the pasta into the sauce, adding reserved water as needed to create a silky coating. Garnish with parsley.
