Make your spicy margarita equal parts spicy and refreshing with our recipe that’s sure to become a summer favourite.
Whether you consider yourself a seasoned mixologist or are new to DIY cocktails, our spicy margarita recipe is quick to mix up! For those who love chilli, it doesn’t get much better than this.
Add the serrano pepper slices to a cocktail shaker and muddle with the lime juice. If you can, reserve a couple of the pepper slices for serving.
Add tequila, triple sec, bitters and coriander (if using) and fill the cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously until you can feel the shaker becoming cold.
Pour the Tajin seasoning on a small plate. Rub the rim of your chosen glasses with a lime wedge, then dip the glass’s rim into the seasoning to coat. Fill the glass with ice and pour in the margarita, garnishing with a lime wedge and pepper slice. Serve immediately.
