I was a bit sceptical of this because of it being wood but the magnets are extremely strong. We had the product in a box and it was still pulling knives towards it. Because of it being wood, it goes very well with my kitchen cabinets. Very impressed.
Almost had my fingers off, this is one very strong magnet..........
