How to choose between our knife ranges

Choosing the right knife set can be a very daunting task, especially if you’re unsure on what’s out there. All of ProCook’s knives offer a blend of superb precision and timeless design, but each range has their own unique differences.

To help, we’ve created a handy guide breaking down each of our knife ranges, detailing who they’re best suited for and what makes them so special, so you can find the right range for you.

However, before you buy, it’s important to consider the following:

  • Do you prefer Western or Asian blade shapes?

  • The shape and style of handle you prefer (e.g., wood, ABS plastic, etc.)

  • How often you want to sharpen your knives (higher carbon content means greater edge retention)

  • How much money you are prepared to spend

Gourmet Classic

Featuring European blade shapes and a traditional, three-rivet handle that feels comfortable and easy-to-grip for prolonged chopping sessions.

              Elite AUS10

              Our only knife range with ice-hardened blades, subjected to –150C temperatures for enhanced sharpness, durability, edge retention and corrosion resistance – built with serious cutting power in mind.

              • Crafted from Japanese AUS10 steel containing 1% carbon and 13% chrome for an impressive blend of sharpness, edge retention and rust and stain resistance

              • Ice hardened to -150C temperatures, a process that makes the blade harder, sharper and more resistant to corrosion and chipping

              • Each blade is finished with a laser-etched design for a unique and modern look and feel

              Damascus 67

              Inspired by the very best Japanese techniques, this is one of our premium ranges. Each knife has a VG10 core encased in 66 layers of Japanese Damascus steel for razor-sharp precision, lasting durability and a visually stunning design that looks good in every kitchen.

                Drawing inspiration from Japanese craftmanship, this is our most high-end knife range, featuring a VG10 high carbon core encased in 66 layers of Damascus steel and specially sculpted handles made from highly durable Pakkawood.
